Warwick Castle

We've been here since Friday 6th January and I think it won't be enough all the space in this blog to write down the really amazing sensations we've felt from the great places we've visited... But one of the most wonderful places I liked was Warwick Castle! Is a medieval castle in Warwick, the county town in Warwickshire, far away 3-hours from London.

We got into the coach at 8 o'clock in Holborn Station and 3 hours later we were at Warwick exploring the most we could because we only had 2 hours till the meeting time. We took the map and started with the Secrets and Scandals of the Royal Weekend Party. (I'm attaching the map so you can plan your visit from here). I highly recommend this place up tp another one ! That's because I had pretty funny moments here!! It's like the Madam Toussand museum with wax sculptures of people from that times. We took great photos here!!

One more place you really have to visit is Merlin: The Dragon Tower from where we saw amazing landscapes!! The greatest viewsssss!!!! And you have to be really careful with the stairs! ;)

But you have another places to visit are The Castle Dungeons, The Towers and Ramparts, The Grounds and Gardens, The Princess Tower, The Grand Interiors, The King Maker and of course the SHOP! Where you can get really amazing and strange things tipical from this place!!

I'm leaving just saying what a beautifoul day we spend togeher!!!!!!

London Underground

Since we arrived London (5th January), we've been travelling always by the tube. It is said that is the main public transport of the city because of the awesome system and the speed! Also has a lot of lines and station and it's very easy to use it! It has more than 20 lines, that's quite a lot! It's very useful! However, sometimes we found it really hard to travel in the rush hour, the tube were really crowded because it was the period when all the people finished their work. So in that circumstances we had to take the bus. Sometimes the tube used to be very heavy but we think that is common in all the other cities and even more in multicultural and populated cities as London. Above all, we realised that the tube in London is an excellent public trasport, and may be it's more cheap and efficent than the car!

Stratford

Stratford
22 miles away from London, Stratford is a very nice city, very well known for being the hometown of Shakespeare. We went there last weekend on a tour and it was entertaining.
Beginning with the river Avon with ducks and so many boats, a lot of pictures were taken there. It's also a nice place to make a picnic with friends or family.
We also visited The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the house where he was born, if you're a Shakespeare fan you definitely should check out this place.
Probably the most exciting thing about this place is the church with the cemetery in the front, which is a fantastic place. William Shakespeare got married to Anne Hathaway there and also his funeral was held there.He's buried there and his tomb is supposed to have a spell, so his body can't be moved from there.
After all this walking and taking a lot and a lot of pictures, Stratford has a commercial centre too with nice sales on so we  went shopping for a while! What a beautiful day!

London food

I came to London in search of new experiences and food was one of them.

I arrived last Friday at seven o clock so that i realised it was time for had a traditional English breakfast.In Argentina we only have coffee or tea with cookies for breakfast so when i saw that English people were eating bacon ,sausages and beans i got a bit scared because i thought that all the food was going to be strange for me.But now ten days later i really love English food because it is delicious and it is not too much different from Argentinian food.

If you are in England you really have to eat all the traditional english food because you are going to love it.
